But one clear picture built up in the reader’s mind by your words is worth a thousand drawings, for the reader colors that picture with his own imagination, which is more potent than all the brushes of all the world’s artists.” – Robert Collierġ6. One good illustration is worth a thousand words. “Here’s the only thing you’re selling, no matter what business you’re in and what you ship: you’re selling your prospects a better version of themselves.” – Joanna Wiebeġ5. “People will do anything for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicions, and help them throw rocks at their enemies.” – Blair Warrenġ4. “Every product has a unique personality and it is your job to find it.” – Joe Sugarmanġ3. “A big reason so many businesses compete on price is because they can’t prove what value they offer, so they’re stuck with the one selling point that’s a breeze to communicate: cheapness.” – Mish Sladeġ2. “We have become so accustomed to hearing everyone claim that his product is the best in the world, or the cheapest, that we take all such statements with a grain of salt.” – Robert Collierġ1. “The secret of all effective advertising is not the creation of new and tricky words and pictures, but one of putting familiar words and pictures into new relationships.” – Leo Burnettġ0. “Metaphors are a great language tool, because they explain the unknown in terms of the known.” – Anne Lamottĩ. Sometimes it’s an ad.” – Howard Gossageħ. Your job is to know your visitors, customers and prospects so well, you understand the situation they’re in right now, where they’d like to be, and exactly how your solution can and will get them to their ideal self.” – Joanna WiebeĦ. “When I write an advertisement, I don’t want you to tell me that you find it ‘creative.’ I want you to find it so interesting that you buy the product.” – David Ogilvyĥ. “If it sounds like writing, I rewrite it.” – Elmore Leonardģ. This means the vacuum will maneuver around your house and create a virtual map, which you can edit. Many vacuums have no mapping, but you’ll get that feature with a Roomba. The Roomba i7+ comes with a remote, though, giving you the option of controlling your robovac without your phone. One downside to this, though, is that you’ll need to start up the app if you want to control your Roomba’s movements or change the schedule. Some models have no Wi-Fi connectivity, but the Roombas do. Other models allow you to schedule cleaning times so that the robovac will run while you’re away.

On the other hand, when he sheds both the showy electric guitars and his cocky rock-star rasp, Cooper hits on an emotional core to Jackson that’s otherwise only apparent on screen. More literally, Cooper sounds like Ian Anderson with a chewing tobacco habit-which may be appropriate for Cooper’s addiction-addled character in the context of the film.īut neither Cooper nor the lumbering blues-rock riffs conjured by Lukas Nelson-who co-wrote several of the soundtrack’s songs with both Cooper and Gaga, and whose band, the Promise of the Real, plays Jackson’s backing band in the film-do much to convincingly justify the cheering crowds that accompany the songs here. Essentially, he’s like a small-town bar band’s frontman who thinks smugly mispronouncing words-like the way he mangles the phrase “Without an alibi” on “Alibi”-will make him sound like a hot-shit rock star. Yes, he can sing, but only to the extent one would expect from a character with a seemingly meme-generated country-singer name like Jackson Maine. Musically, however, he’s not quite as convincing. It’s difficult to find fault with either Cooper’s magnificent glassy-eyed, ruddy-faced performance or his direction, which astoundingly guides the film onto a fine line between old Hollywood melodrama and true-feeling character dynamics. In co-writing, directing, and casting himself as a troubled country-rocker who discovers Gaga’s bourgeoning singer-songwriter-not to mention co-writing several songs and doing his own singing-Cooper ensures that the verisimilitude of A Star Is Born’s portrayal of the modern-day music biz hinges largely on him. While Gaga provides the 2018 version with the requisite crossover star power to ensure its success, it’s ultimately a deathly serious vanity project. Now on its third remake (fourth if you count 1932’s What Price Hollywood?), A Star Is Born has appropriately become a vehicle for a parade of stars over the last 80 years: Judy Garland and James Mason, Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, and now Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. It would be impossible to do that for a 99 guy unless you play with dodgerfilms Bubba Crosby settings or something. Be strategic with your lineup decisions, field your best team, and take on opponents to earn Event rewards based. Speedsters, sluggers, and switch hitters will have their moments to shine in these rotating, time-limited Events. That's gonna be hard to maintain at cap even with a standard player. Events: Events enter Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 17 and challenge you to build a team based on themed Event rules. I mean every time you don't get a hit with a man in scoring position, or at least a sac fly, it seems your clutch regresses. Just from watching the stream I'd say clutch rating is going to be the main thing that people complain about regressing really really fast. Every pitch you see is a landmine waiting to take a hit on your ratings, it would seem. 380 this year my contact isn't gonna go down from 99 at all because I had a good year." It most definitely will continue to go down until you're at the cap, regardless of how good of a hitter you might be. And if you're already above the allowed cap, it's the same as being at the cap, you're not gonna make any gains at all. Those kinda things happen all the time over the course of a game, regardless of how good your player is. Make an out with power swing? Power goes down. Swing at a ball out of the zone and miss? Discipline goes down. We know from watching the stream you have the potential to lose attribute points on any pitch of an AB. I can't see any other actual way it could go. I am not fully committed to playing RTTS in 18 yet but I will pull over my all 99 player and play a few weeks worth of games to see how it goes. It won't take long at all to find yourself at the intended cap in those attributes, if I'm understanding that right. So after a full season of slashing 330/440/590 you're still gonna find yourself probably regressed to the cap because everytime you fail as a hitter you're losing points, and not gaining any when you succeed. Hitting is going to regress the quickest then, because everytime you have a bad AB or strikeout you're going to regress, and never be able to reacquire those gains until you're below the actual cap.
